Leigh Ann Henion is available to freelance as a writer and photographer for reputable magazines and newspapers. She holds a valid U.S. passport, and she is ready, willing and able to travel for international assignments. She is especially interested in feature assignments that involve culture, travel, labor and environmental issues.

Currently, Leigh Ann is an English instructor at Appalachian State University. She also teaches creative nonfiction workshops for ASU’s Institute for Senior Scholars, a continuing education program for senior citizens. Her teaching background is in memoir, creative nonfiction, documentary and ethnographic writing.
